Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 70.100.155.238). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Also, please spell-check your work and Don't Type In Caps Like This.BCube|c|t 19:23, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bill Plympton
Welcome to Wikipedia. It's great to see you've added a brief description of each of his shorts, but the grammar, spelling, upper/lowercasing and punctuation are all off. All that does need to be fixed, or I'm afraid they can't stay. Edits to Wikipedia have to be within the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. I'm sure you'll agree it's not fair to expect other editors to make wholesale cleanups to all that. Your enthusiasm is sincerly great, though, and the information is valuable ad we'd lov e to see it stay. One suggestion: After each title, give the plotline on a line beneath that begins with an asterisk, which will create a bullet. (The other stuff will still need fixed, though.) Thanks -- Tenebrae 02:07, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. I can see you trying just now, but it's clear that English isn't your first language, and you're inserting tons and tons of misspellings and bad grammar and much else, all of which does not give high credibility that your plot descriptions are translating accurately either. Your edits are going to have to be reverted, for the reasons above, so it might be good to not devote more time at this point. --Tenebrae 18:55, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] September 21
I'm sorry for mistaking your edits to Tim Burton for vandalism. However, I must revert your edits due to several reasons. As nice as it is to have a section about Burton's unreleased films, most of the grammar, spelling, upper/lowercasing and punctuation in it are incorrect. If you want me to, however, I am willing to replace that section with a corrected version. Please leave a message on my talk page if you want me to do so.--Releeshan 21:35, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Sims
Hi.
Could you provide sources to the section on The Sims dedicated to the origin and development of the game? I'm having a hard time locating some of the sources. Given that you should be the one who is more knowledgeable of the additions, you should be responsible for some of the sources. Feel free to voice out in this talk page discussion if your have comments.
Thanks. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 10:54, 26 September 2006 (UTC) ╫
[edit] Re: Dont Delete?
I had removed my warning and replaced it with a suggestion for you. Technically, you are not supposed to delete other people's comments on your talk page, save for a rare case of talk page vandalism. ---Releeshan 19:30, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sourcing- (Ub Iwerks)
Being as you're using an IP and not an actual username, I am going to make the assumption that you're new. Sourcing a claim on Wikipedia does not mean merely restating the same claims, or telling someone "it can be found on Google". Wikipedia's policies about sourcing are quite clear on the subject. Hope this helps clear out any confusion about the request for sources. Ex-Nintendo Employee 21:42, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Editing your talk page
Dear 70.100.155.238,
I am not "running this page when [I have] no right to come in her and tell [you] what to do no right". I am merely following the rules. You are not supposed to edit your own talk page, save for when you are responding to a comment. I recommend that you check out this page for the proper protocol when a subject on your talk page is no longer being discussed.
With all due respect, Releeshan 21:29, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Joe Murray. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Squirepants101 16:41, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edit to List of pre-made characters in The Sims
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --Crossmr 20:41, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Every edit that has been made by you to that article has involved something questionable. If I've got you mixed up with someone else, then you better be more careful what you're editing. This edit [1] Contains several spelling errors and other things introduced by you. This one [2] is wrong last time I checked. Mortimer only starts off in a relationship with one of them. This one [3] introduces a weird grammatical change and removes content with no explanation. This one [4] introduces a change you undo in the latest edit. Both changes supposedly made in your efforts to "fix vandalism". Here [5] you remove a note about aspiration which several other characters had with no explanation as to why that one was removed. Here in a series of edits [6] you remove the dated reference from the template. its proper to leave the date in, and again introduce several spelling errors that were correct before you started editing. All in the name of fighting vandalism. A content dispute isn't vandalism, yet deliberately introducing spelling errors and other things of that nature is vandalism.--Crossmr 23:32, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Regardless of your contributions to the page, the last several edits from this IP have introduced deliberate spelling mistakes, not just one or two, but numerous ones, as well as incorrect information, and strange grammatical errors. Were you adding new content and making spelling mistakes that would be of no concern. But you are changing existing text. You don't get a pass on vandalism for making good contributions in the past.--Crossmr 16:36, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- There is no confusion over who is introducing the vandalism in the case of your edits. There is no evidence of any edit conflicts. The diffs given above show plain and clear through your edits you've introduced uncountable spelling and grammatical errors not through the introduction of new text, but the changing of existing text. Mixing a good edit with a bad edit doesn't give you a pass. You've been shown the diffs above. If you want to improve the page, please do so, but continuing to introduce spelling and grammatical errors on existing text can and will lead to your loss of privilege of editing the page.--Crossmr 21:11, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- You can return to editing the page without blanking the warnings and record of your behaviour. There is nothing preventing you from doing that.--Crossmr 02:19, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
