Welcome to Wikipedia. The edits you made to Rancid (band) were in direct contradiction to the text "Please do not change the genre without disscussing on the talk page at Talk:Rancid (band)." written directly next to the part you edited. Such willful disregard is considered vandalism. You also removed well cited refernces to Lagwagon being pop punk and entries on the List of pop punk bands. You even left the refernces there like you didn't know what they were.
