[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 12:09, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. - JPG-GR (talk) 19:04, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Dragon Tales. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Crazy Boris with a red beard (talk) 01:42, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

but i did the ```` just as you guys told me too.

and the forest of darkness does resemble mirkwood and other dark forests.

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Dragon Tales, you will be blocked from editing. Once again: the "mirkwood" question has been discussed, AT LENGTH, on the talk pages. Putting back material that has been removed by consensus is considered a form of vandalism. Hence: final warning. Gladys J Cortez 03:12, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

HELLO, I DID WHAT YOU GUYS TOLD ME TO DO, I put THe ```` and EXPLAINED WHY I DID THOSE CHANGES.

  • First. Just because you explain something, that doesn't mean that people will accept it, or that it's correct. I can explain why I think the sky is green, but the sky will stubbornly remain blue, and people will get to thinking I'm a crackpot.
  • Second: the REASON we keep removing that reference is very simple (apart from the fact that it was decided, very long ago, on the talk page of the article, that it shouldn't be there--which on Wikipedia is reason enough NOT to re-add something)-- You can't put a comparison of two nonexistent, fictional places in an encyclopedia. You can't compare the appearance of one place which does not exist with the appearance of another place which does not exist--not in an encyclopedia article, anyway. In a story, sure; on a fan site, sure--not here.
  • Third: the signature issue. It's not ````. You're using the right KEY, but you have to hold down the SHIFT key at the same time to make the little ~ character, which is what you need to sign your posts. So when I type ~~~~, this is what I get: Gladys J Cortez 03:59, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Fourth: Keep trying. But before you add information, first look at the article talk page, to make sure the people who've already worked on the article haven't already decided that the material doesn't fit; and second, think about the encyclopedias you've looked at in the past, and the kind of information they include. Wikipedia is a little more flexible, but you have to be able to PROVE anything you say, or show that another reliable source said it first. Hang in there. We're not as harsh as we seem--even me. :)
  • And while I'm thinking about it, since you seem to want to contribute here: you might think about actually creating an account, so that you can sign your posts with a NAME and not that mess of numbers up there. It's hard to know what to call a number--are you MISS 67.167.70.7? MISTER 67.167.70.7? Should we just call you 67, or....? :) It's just easier if you create an account. No, I'm Julia Herlone Gorinast. I will sign on, but first i need to say that i'm not a nutball, what i say really is true, look at it.
