[edit] Fracis Bok and Category:Former Muslims
Hi, Francis Bok was forced to convert to Islam whem held as a slave and is now a Christian again. Please discuss this on the article' talk page. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:33, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- PS In general it is a good idea to discuss changes like the ones yu are making on article talk pages. For Bok, he was a practicing Moslem for the years he was held captive (whether he believed it or not, he went through the motions). Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:42, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- I looked at Category:Former Muslims and it says "People for whom their former Muslim faith is a defining characteristic or related to their notability." Since Bok is notable for being held as a slave and part of his slavery was forced conversion to Islam, I think this is notable. I am not an expert on Bok or this category, so I will leave it to others to decide. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:57, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
