The 43d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (43 AMXS) of the United States Air Force is an aircraft maintenance squadron operating from Pope Air Force Base, Fayetteville, North Carolina. They maintain C-130 Hercules aircraft. The squadron is part of the 43d Airlift Wing of the Air Mobility Command. This squadron is divided into two separate Aircraft Maintenance Units (AMU), the Spear AMU and the Panther AMU. These two units provide flyable aircraft for the 2d Airlift Squadron and the 41st Airlift Squadron.
