Twenty Fourth Air Force will be a Numbered Air Force in Air Force Cyber Command (AFCYBER) and will initially be located at Barksdale AFB, LA, with a final basing decison to come later. It is an intermediate echelon responsible primarily for all AFCYBER units in the United States. It will inherit the lineage, history and heraldry of the Air Force Communications Agency.
