The 31st Combat Communications Squadron is one of four combat comm squadrons that fall under the 3rd Combat Communication Group or the Third Herd located at Tinker AFB.
During the fall of 2002 and early 2003 Master Sergeant Dave Ahlschwede, Staff Sergeant Mitch Fuqua, and Airman First Class Isaac G.L. Freeman of the 31st created a series of affirmation posters while stationed at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Images of these posters are available on Wikimedia Commons and can be viewed by following the links on each person's name in the preceding sentence.
