These characters don't have it.

Also, it's not as simple as every London Volta and Joule having played Sleepers, as they only were used til 1992 in London. There were also occasions where the cast list in the programme specifies different actresses for the sleepers from the components, they were played by swings.

Also, your costume description is inaccurate as neither had puffball skirts, if anything they were slightly like Ashley's skirt in shape, but quilted stiffly not wired.

But these minor, short-lived characters were seen for ONE song in one production. They are completely non-notable, and do NOT need ann article dedicated to them. Next you'll be starting a page for the race marshalls - at least they appear in every production!

If short lived characters have no notability,then I strongly suggest the removal of Belle's page, as she was only in Broadway and early London. Or prehaps a page may be a page for all short lived/deleted/one production characters? ElphaPearl (talk) 11:26, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Belle was a principal role with a featured solo song and a key role in the plot. She is notable because people buying the original cast recording will have valid questions about this character. The 2nd and 3rd class sleepers did not even have character descriptions, they are just anonymous costumes to add bulk onstage for 3 minutes! The other one-production characters are various Nationals, who are already mentioned on the one page about all the National Engines, and multiple components which is covered on the Components section of Electra's page.

I think you need to leave your ego out of Wikipedia editing. your creation of this page smacks of vanity, YOU wanted to add something, not because it was needed, but to make you feel like you're more important. I created this page because I reckoned that if smaller characters like the nationals and deleted characters like Belle were allowed pages, the so should these two characters. If this page is really that useless, go ahead and delete it. I am not here to argue. I just thought that it would be a good idea to create this page. Obviously not. Why should being a deleted character mean that a character shouldn't have a page? If anything, it's more important to document something that can no longer be witnessed. You wouldn't delete the pages on all the musicals that are no longer open simply because they're 'deleted', would you? The thing about the 2nd and 3rd class Sleepers is that they aren't really characters, they're just costumes for a couple of girls to wear to bulk out the stage for one song. All the information about them could easily fit under the Components' section of the Electra page, since it was usually Joule and Volta who wore them. Mazz0626 (talk) 09:33, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps this page should therefore be converted into one about all the characters no longer in the show. The are so many of them! For instance, Tank, Gook and Lube from London, a number of Nationals from Mexico, Belle and so on. ElphaPearl (talk) 15:22, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
