From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 24.106.140.254). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on [[User_talk:{{{1}}}|my Talk page]] – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.
from Wikipedian:Gator (talk) 19:56, 4 January 2006 (UTC) Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you were just trying to experiment, then use the sandbox instead. Thank you.
Please stop taking that info out of the Jesus page. It's been thoroughly discussed and that was the compromise by a consensus of editors. Please take this to the talk page and argue for it. This reverting is getting old and is improper.Gator (talk) 19:23, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
I believe that and you believe that but other people who call themselves Christian do not beleive the Gospels say that...but that's besides the point. This issue was discussed a great deal and a compromise was reached. I broughtt hat to your attention and you just kep reverting. That wasn't right. It was wrong. PLease read the talk page and honor the consensus and compromise. I fought very hard to get any mention of ther fact that Christians believe the Gospels attribute divinity to Jesus, so I was happy it got in. You removed the entire thing! Please learn from this and don;t revert again. Thanks.Gator (talk) 19:55, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
I understand, but some people do not believe that calling Jesus the son of God is the same as calling him divine (i.e. God). Please don't leave this artcile, we could use people like you, just please remember to discuss issues like this first or at elast when someone mentions that it was already disucssed. Also, go ahead and choose a username and register. it's free and requires no personal information on your part to Wikipedia. Go ahead.Gator (talk) 20:45, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism
Thanks for experimenting with the page Jesus on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Casper2k3 01:11, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] April 2006
Regarding the edits to Jacque Jones and Hot Carl;
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Fourohfour 20:46, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] October 2006
Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page Advertising on Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) 14:03, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with the page List of awards and nominations for Korn on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. -- dhp1080 (u·t·c) 04:41, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive information to Wikipedia, as you did to Opinion. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -SpuriousQ (talk) 06:07, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Kappa Sigma, you will be blocked from editing. D-Hell-pers 14:09, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- You have continued to vandalize the following pages:

[edit] Wait
I'm not posting a user warning here for the vandalism done to Thiel College as doing so will surely result in a block.
Even though this IP address has vandalized 9 pages (Thiel College, Opinion, Kappa Sigma, Neo-Nazism, Limp Wrist, Premature ejaculation, Lance Armstrong, Tamao Tamamura, Martha Stewart, Valentine's Day), your first post to Talk:Thiel College showed an original intent that was sincere; perhaps this sincerity has since soured over disputes such as the one on the Jesus page.
Your post to Wikipedia:Help desk seems to imply that this may be a shared IP. In this case I recommend opening an account, preferably sooner, lest this IP be blocked from account creation in the event of continued vandalism.
Also, I suggest using edit summaries as often as you can, especially when deleting sourced information; for example, your deletion of redundant information at Green Iguana may have looked like vandalism at first glance because of the missing edit summary.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Thibodaux, Louisiana, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Thibodaux, Louisiana was changed by 24.106.140.254 (c) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2008-01-17T06:45:44+00:00 . Thank you. [edit] List of supercouples article
Hello, 24.106.140.254. In order to add a couple to any of the supercouple lists within the List of supercouples article here at Wikipedia, you must provide a valid sourced reference along with the couple you are adding, validating that they are a supercouple or an important couple within popular culture. If no valid sourced reference is provided with a couple that you add to one of the lists within the List of supercouples article here at Wikipedia, then that couple will be removed.
If you need help in knowing how to format a reference, you can either look at how some of the references are formatted within the List of supercouples article or look at Wikipedia:Citation templates, and I'm sure that you'll eventually get the hang of it. You can always contact me on my talk page or through email if you need help on anything with Wikipedia.
And, oh, remember, when talking on talk pages here at Wikipedia, to sign your user name (actual user name or IP address) by typing four tildes ~~~~. Flyer22 (talk) 02:29, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to St. Michael's Special School. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 04:48, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

[edit] Category:Soap opera supercouples
Your help around Wikipedia is appreciated, but refrain from putting couples who are not supercouples into Category:Soap opera supercouples. You were right to put a few into that category, but certainly not all of the ones that you did. Flyer22 (talk) 22:35, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
