User talk:213.230.155.25

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 213.230.155.25, is part of a pool of dynamically allocated addresses and is registered to the following organization Telecom Italia Mobile. Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts can be made to contact Telecom Italia Mobile to report abuse.

The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Blocked. Fut.Perf. 14:33, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

WELL DONE. YOU'VE NOW BLOCKED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO USE THIS IP ADDRESS THROUGHOUT ITALY AND THE NORTHERN BALKANS.

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Tony Fox (arf!) 23:17, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

[edit] Blocked

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. 3 warnings for the same thing? One person warns me politely, the next gives me a harder warning and then some idiot administrator blocks me. No wonder Wikipedia has lost it - how about abit of organization? Don't you realise that blocking IP addresses will affect many people and not only the person you are targeting? I guess that's kind of how the USA works isn't it - bomb the country because of its citizens and fuck the people living there.

It is unfortunate that we have had to limit the contributions of potentially random Italian cellphone users as a result of this block. The edits you made, however, were blatantly without benefit for anybody on this site to read. Further, they were derogatory and obscene. To the user responsible for those edits, I find it hard pressed that even you believe that your edits were a useful contribution by any measure. --Auto (talk / contribs) 23:35, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
