[edit] Clipmate
Hi! Why did you delete the article on Clipmate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.16.122.218 (talk) 11:24, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Erm, that was a while back! I deleted ClipMate under Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion A7: namely that there was no indication of importance/significance - basically, it didn't read like the application was significantly notable to merit an article on Wikipedia, since the article failed to give any indication to the contrary. If you'd like to discuss the matter further, I suggest you post to Wikipedia:Deletion review. └ UkPaolo/talk┐ 19:01, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Have a look at this! ClipMate wins "Best Application" at the 2007 Shareware Industry Awards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.16.122.218 (talk) 19:28, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well firstly, I don't believe that statement was in the article. Secondly, whilst I'd agree that is an assertion of notability, I still have concerns that it makes the software sufficiently notable to merit an article on an encyclopedia. However, I'd urge you, as I said previously, to start a discussion on this matter at Wikipedia:Deletion review. └ UkPaolo/talk┐ 22:39, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
