[edit] Wikilinks

I noticed you're quite active putting wikilinks into articles, but I'm afraid you're going a bit overboard at times...;)
Those links should really only be used if they point to relevant articles, articles that have direct connection to the original one. Something that might give the reader a bit more background information on the article in question if they're interested.
It shouldn't be used like a dictionary, pointing to definitions for nearly every word. If we used them like that we could theoretically link every word in an article, since there's something written about nearly everything by now.
So - while I appreciate your effort to improve the articles you may want to be a bit more selective about what you link. After all, if there are too many links in an article it's much harder to find the really relevant ones. Thanks! --Frescard 20:21, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Hip hop music. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 02:15, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
