2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification - First Round

The first round of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification put Lebanon and Maldives (teams ranked 23-24) into a pair for a home and away qualifier.

Lebanon advanced to the second round winning both games with an aggregate score of 6–1 and advanced to the second round, where they will be joined by the 19 teams seeded 4-22 and split into five groups of four.
