[edit] Link to new title
Linking the move target creates a link in the history, but it uglifies recent changes with unnecessary extra brackets, like this:
- 13:41:01 Yanukovych Viktor Fedorovych moved to [[Viktor Yanukovych]]
What do people think? Is it worth the RC ugliness to have a link to the move target in the edit history? —No-One Jones (m) 13:48, 5 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I've seen lots of recent changes with clickable links that don't have visible brackets. Is there a way to make that work here or a bug fix that can be filed ? — 131.230.133.185 28 June 2005 21:41 (UTC)
[edit] considering a change
I'm considering changing the text from "$1 moved to $2" to "moved $1 to $2". Because the page move is displayed as "<username> <original page> moved to <new page>" in the contributions, it is sometimes easy to accidentally think that the username is part of the original name.
