What counts as a notable release for the purposes of this page? I ask because I was going to mention Thief but it's certainly no Half Life in terms of fame. However I notice some pretty inconsequential stuff gets mentioned on other year pages like this one (certainly more inconsequential than thief). MuJoCh 08:37, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tom Clancys Rainbow Six
I added the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for PC game on, and is a noteable release becuase it was vote the years best PC game.
I don't know the exact date of it's release and don't plan on Investigating. If you wish to take it off, please tell me why.

[edit] Streamlining Notable Games List
If there are no objections, I would like to remove duplicate entries on this list: titles listed multiple times due to different regional release dates or ported to different platforms. I'll keep the entry for when the title was first released; if readers would like to see when that title was released for their region, it's just a simple click away to the main game page.
