1977 FA Cup Final

The 1977 FA Cup Final was played on 21 May 1977. It was contested by Manchester United and Liverpool at Wembley. United won 2-1, with goals by Stuart Pearson and Jimmy Greenhoff. Jimmy Case scored Liverpool's goal. All three goals came in a five-minute period in the second half. United's victory prevented Liverpool from winning the treble, a feat that Manchester United would achieve in the 1998-1999 season.
