Several notables came out of the 1973 NBA Draft, including former NBA head coach and current TNT NBA analyst Doug Collins, current New York Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni, new NFL Today host James Brown, George McGinnis, Kermit Washington, current Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl, former NBA head coach Jim O'Brien and M.L. Carr.
