  • Garry Peter played 13 regular-season games, Bryan Watson played 5 regular-season games, Ernie Walkey did not play for Montreal, but was dressed during the regurlar-season. All 3 players spent most of season in the minors, but name was put on the Stanley Cup even though did not officially qualify.
  • When Toronto won the Stanley Cup in 1962, 1963, 1964 they took up more room then allowed to engraved their winning members names on it. So When Montreal won the Stanley Cup, the ring was finished off with 32 members. If the ring had been engraved correctly in 1964–65. There would have been more than enough room to included all 27 members of Montreal Canadiens 1965-66 with their full first and Last names, and non-playing positions.
