[edit] Reverting the Gokturk Flag

Seriously, just stop. There are no sources for that flag. Its use is dubious at best, and without definitive sources it does not belong in Wikipedia. Please do not continue to revert my edits, thank you.Rcduggan (talk) 12:50, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

I do not understand Turkish, so do you have any ENGLISH sources for that? The obvious source of that flag states: "To the best of our knowledge, the historical existence of most of these flags is not proven and we are not aware of their origin and designer"

http://www.crwflags.com/FOTW/flags/tr_imp.html So I'm going to assume that you got the flag from that site (why else would it look exactly the same?) and thus it is an unsourced flag. Since I can't read Turkish, the site you posted is of no use to me.Rcduggan (talk) 23:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

But it is UNSOURCED basically. I am not going to believe you until you produce some credible English sources. If I could read Turkish I might believe you, but since I cannot it's a moot point. Rcduggan (talk) 23:34, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Göktürks. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Stifle (talk) 19:18, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Please stop your sterile revert warring, or you will be blocked. Fut.Perf. 11:33, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
