1957 Pescara Grand Prix

The 1957 Pescara Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on 18 August 1957 at the Pescara Circuit in Italy. This race is best remembered for being held on the longest ever circuit to stage a Formula One World Championship Grand Prix -- the track is 25 km / 16 miles long. It was also the first time that Formula One had ever held two races in the same country during the same season.
The race drew an enormous crowd in excess of 200,000 spectators.
