1880s American Cup

The American Football Association unified a number of teams from the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas. The organization established a knockout tournament to determine a champion. The first 'American Cup' was competed for in the 1884-85 season with six participants. Below are the tournaments for 1884 to 1889.
