14th Street is a station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 14th Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, it is served by the 1 and 2 trains at all times, and by the 3 train at all times except late nights.

This is an express station with two island platforms. The ceilings of the platforms are unusually high and have old-style incandescent light fixtures, which are no longer in use. There are three crossovers (mezzanines) between the platforms, with exits at 12th, 13th and 14th Streets. There is a closed passageway to 14th Street (IND Eighth Avenue Line) complete with mosaic signing, just past the booth at 14th Street. It was closed in the 1980s for safety reasons and is now behind a gate that is chained shut. In addition, there is a passageway to 14th Street (IND Sixth Avenue Line) and Sixth Avenue (BMT Canarsie Line). A connection is also available (at a separate fare) to the PATH via the 6th Avenue passageway.
