[edit] October 2007

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Blue Dog Coalition, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. AzaToth 23:52, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. --Kralizec! (talk) 15:20, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] NORML

Thank you for your language lesson on how to pronounce "NORML," but you missed a point. It's how to pronounce "liar." That's what we need to work on, "liar."

You know how NORML and Dale Gieringer lied about what happened in Ukiah, don't you? I'm sure you do, I'm sure you know how NORML tried to cover-up the forced police registration of 420 patients. This registration is what's never supposed to happen in the US. Where are you? You're in America, aren't you? I'm sure you've heard of liberty and freedom where you are. You must be posting from a Southern state or something. But, thanks for your interest in teaching us how to pronounce "NORML." That was nice of you.

Now, how do you pronounce...uhh...Never mind. I don't think you know what I'm talking about.--76.245.122.202 (talk) 02:26, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hensarling

You'll no doubt notice that the changes you made to the article on Congressman Hensarling have been... shall we say, toned down. Much of the information which you introduced has been retained (except in those instances where I felt it could be replaced by links to other articles), but your choice of words made you sound like a fawning lickspittle. We are not here to heap insults upon him, but neither are we here to act as a rah-rah booster club.

Also, about those flattering quotes from major newspapers... they can stay, but you'll need to do better than just "the Dallas Morning Star said this!!!" or "the New York Times said that!!!"; can you provide a source? DS (talk) 14:07, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Oh, and "he introduced legislation that would balance the budget in five years without raising taxes!!!" - to be blunt, big fox-hunting deal. What politician doesn't have such a plan? DS (talk) 14:09, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
