[edit] All other places use is???

Just to let you know... The U.S. is the only English speaking country that uses that singular form for their group nouns. Even in Canada the correct English form matches UK/AUS/NZ etc. We do, however, use a familiar English version because of our close proximity to a nation that says "they is"... we are forced to "dumb it down" for them. Proper Canadian spelling is also "UK like" and not "US like". For proper Canadian spelling pluralize, humor, honor, color... would all be wrong. CDN Eng spelling means we are supposed to use pluralise, humour, honour and colour as correct form. Also, centre and metre and not center and meter. And on Wikipedia the correct link to "heavy metal" is heavy metal NOT heavy metal. Heavy metal is a re-direct link and needs to be corrected on many pages to the "piped link" form.. 156.34.142.110 (talk) 19:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
