[edit] Chicago Spire

Talk pages are places to discuss how to improve the article, not to discuss the article's subject. Though many share your "dildo" comments, you are not free to post them there. Chupper (talk) 01:29, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

If you continue to use talk pages such as Chicago Spire for inappropriate discussions you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Chupper (talk) 14:03, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Why? Why is this inappropriate? It's not like I'm defacing the article itself.

"Talk pages are places to discuss how to improve the article, not to discuss the article's subject." Chupper (talk) 22:58, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

There should be a special place to people discuss their opinions ON THE TOPIC here as well. Seems to be a double-standard here. I guess the rules don't apply if you're a semi-divine administrator. Quod licet Jovi, non licet bovi.

This is an encyclopedia, not a blog or personal website. Personal opinions from users on the subjects of articles NEVER belong on Wikipedia. Where do you see a double standard? If you are seeing someone leave opinions on talk pages, and are not discussing improvements to the article, those comments should be removed. If you spot them, feel free to remove them! You don't have to be a administrator to do it. I'm not... Chupper (talk) 01:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
