[edit] Royal Anglians

Hi. not sure why you removed the Hertfordshire Regiment and Cambridgeshire Regiment from the RAR lineage? Although TF/TA only they do form part of the make up of the regiment, with their battle honours etcetera passing on to the present regiment, AFAIK.

Also I added the pre 1881 numbered regiments of foot as they were different entitities to the post Childers Reforms regiments: they only contributed the regular battalions, there were also militia and volunteer battalions that made up the new regiments.

Maybe it made it a bit complicated, but it semed more accurate to me.... Lozleader 22:17, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Fine. Maybe they should! Lozleader 16:56, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008

Please stop to change the unit names in the articles of the British Army. As it is the units are named correctly and linked directly to their articles. If you continue to change the names, articles names of the regiments and the links you change to not correspond anymore and thus redirects become necessary. Therefore I ask you to stop and revert the articles to the versions that were before you stated your changes. thanks, --noclador (talk) 15:12, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi. As a disinterested third party, I suggest you ignore the two over-zealous vandalism warnings above. Including an informative edit summary is good advice, however, to prevent edits being misconstrued as vandalism in the future. --DAJF (talk) 13:26, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
