Britney Spears's ..Baby One More Time Tour was a tour in support of her debut album ...Baby One More Time (1999). It was Spears' first solo national tour. The set was a simple staircase and two platforms where Spears' band was arranged. Spears performed eight songs from her album and covers of Madonna's "Vogue" and "Material Girl," Janet Jackson's "Black Cat" and "Nasty" and Journey's "Open Arms". Steps, Boyz N Girlz United, P.Y.T. and Michael Fredo were among the opening acts. The tour ran from late June to early September 1999. Overall the tour proved to be highly successful for Spears.
Tommy Jeans (Tommy Hilfiger) was the official sponsor of the United States and Canada Summer Tour. "This year we have really put music in the forefront of everything we do", Hilfiger said. "Britney represents the spirit of Tommy Jeans and of youth today. I cannot think of a better way to continue this exciting year by sponsoring one of today's hottest young recording artists."
Spears performed an abbreviated show in Bethel, New York for the Woodstock Music and Art Festival.
