[edit] Persistent injury

Štěpán Vachoušek, the 27-year-old Czech international football player has unfortunately been hampered with a string of recurring injuries since suffering cruciate ligament damage in 2005, last undergoing an operation in February 2007. The latest news of Vachoušek’s troublesome knee injury means that the solid midfielder shall miss FK Austria Wein’s second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup, in August.
