Yvonne Agneta Ryding (born December 14, 1962), from Eskilstuna, Sweden, was the Miss Universe titleholder for the year 1984 (crowned at Miami, FL on July 9, 1984). She was the third Swede to win the pageant.

Prior to competing in the Miss Universe pageant, Miss Ryding was a Swedish National Lucia Bride. Before she became a celebrity, she was working as a nurse in a hospital. Nowadays, she is a TV-personality. Her most notable appearances after her victory was her presentation at the Swedish competition Melodifestivalen 1989. Ryding was a guest of honor of the Miss Universe 2006 competition, held in Los Angeles, United States.

She is divorced from Swedish actor Kjell Bergqvist, whom she met in Monaco in the year of 1986. While married she took the name Yvonne Ryding Bergqvist. The couple have two daughters.

In 2007 Yvonne competed against eleven other Swedish celebrities in the television dance contest Dancing with the Stars, but was eliminated on February 23.^[1]
