Yvonne Carter OBE MD is a general practitioner (family doctor) and Dean of the Warwick Medical School, a post she took up in 2004, after being the Vice-Dean. Warwick Medical School is Britains first medical school to only accept applications from graduates. She is also an active researcher while maintaining her clinical interests as a General Practitioner and Honorary Consultant in Primary Care at Coventry Primary Care Trust (UK). In addition, Professor Carter is a Non-Executive Director of University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Regional Engagement at the University of Warwick.[1]
