Yuzhou (Simplified Chinese: 禹州; pinyin: Yǔzhōu) is a county-level city in Xuchang, central Henan province in the People's Republic of China. It is the site of Yangzhai, the capital of the State of Han during the Warring States Period.
During the Three Kingdoms period, Yuzhou was given to Liu Bei by Han Prime Minister, Cao Cao after he was appointed as Governor. Yuzhou was a land neighboring Xuzhou, a land under General Lu Bu and Nanyang, Yuan Shu's land.
Yuzhou was known as Yingchuan (traditional Chinese: 潁川; simplified Chinese: 颍川) in the Qin, Han and Jin Dynasties.
