Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Khan Pathan (born November 17, 1982 in Baroda) is an Indian cricketer. Pathan made his debut in first-class cricket in 2001/02. He is a hard hitting right handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. His younger-brother Irfan Pathan is also an Indian cricketer. Though younger to Yusuf, it was Irfan who entered the Indian team first.
Yusuf was a part of the Indian squad which won the inaugural Twenty20 World Championship, held in South Africa in September 2007. He got a chance to play in the finals against Pakistan and opened for India.-[1] He contributed both with the bat and bowl conceding just five runs in his debut T20 over and scoring 15 off 8 balls.
He represented Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. He was signed for USD 475,000. In the IPL, he proved his worth with whirlwind batting and useful offspin. He recorded IPL's fastest half century, from just 21 balls. As a result he stormed into the Indian One Day International team also.
Yusuf Pathan gave a fantastic performance for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League finals against Chennai Super Kings taking 3 wickets and scoring 56 runs of just 39 deliveries winning the man of the match award. Rajasthan Royals won the DLF Indian Premier League first year tournament.[2] Yusuf Pathan hit the highest number of sixes in the final and was also awarded Man of the Match.
In the IPL tournament he has second best strike rate of 180 after Sehwag who scored 405 runs with the strike rate of 184. Pathan scored 435 with 4 fifties including 43 fours and 25 sixes that is highest number of sixes by any Indian and 3rd one in the throughout the tournament.
