[edit] Cancellation of TV program hosted by Yuri Shchekochikhin

This information was taken from the article about him in Russian Wikipedia. I simply have no time to study this question. If someone else could, that would be great. Biophys 16:48, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Could anyone find the list of his books and plays?Biophys 16:52, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Russian sources

Why are some of the embedded links towards Russian sources? Most of us can't read Russian. LuciferMorgan 01:18, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, his book and articles were not translated to English, as far as I know (although they are great and certainly deserved to be translated and published). You may try automatic translation programs. If you find any good English sources, you are very welcome to include them in the article. Biophys 01:32, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Assassination"

The Novaya Gazeta article used for referencing doesn't even mention thallium. Thus, the sources to support the theory of his assassination aren't just speculative; they are non-existant. Óðinn 21:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, but you probably did not read Russian source (Novaya Gazeta) provided in the previous version of this article (it seems you deleted this source). It says:

Hence they are talking about well known cases of radiological poisoning of Nikolai Khokhlov and the middle man of Leche Islamov who had symptoms similar to those of Yuri Shchekochikhin. Biophys 23:23, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

I did not delete anything; i just changed the referencing style. The journalists can speculate all they want about the similarity of the symptoms, but the analysis of the tissue specimens yielded the following. "Вывод: симптоматично лечение проводилось верно, но что вызвало столь тяжелое и обвальное течение болезни, установить без дополнительных исследований невозможно. Заключение о смерти поверхностное. Да, это может быть синдром Лайелла (официальный диагноз), но какое вещество его спровоцировало?" Furtermore, if you look up the symptoms of Lyell Syndrome, you'll see that they're very similar to what the article describes. Óðinn 04:52, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I see. This should be simply handled based on WP:NPOV policy - by providing various referenced information and views about his life and death. This article is going to expand.Biophys 15:56, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
