Straight from out of Bed-Stuy Brooklyn is the diamond in the rough that is Denarius (Born Denarius Da-Val Ervin, in 1990) also known as Yung P (Yung Poet).Currently resides in Bed-Stuy & attends Murry Bergtraum High School. He has a very talented gift at basketball, football, and writing. Born and raised in Bed-Stuy this multi-talented R&B rapper was always on the outside looking in, waiting for a chance to prove that he has talent.


Like many teens, Denarius faced challenges as well. He wasn't always a smart kid, he also cant write legibly and never really had support from his parents but these challenges only made him stronger,braver, and more determined to do something with his life no matter what it took. Denarius is one the realist,deep minded, yet down to earth rappers you could find in Brooklyn. With the right promotion Denarius can do big things, maybe great things. Looking up to his cousin/group member Qua Da Prodigee, he followed in her footsteps learning right from wrong. It wasn't until Denarius was 14 and a tragedy that occured in his life that he entered the music biz. At first it was all a joke to Denarius until his mom was injured on the job and was told she could never work again that he realized it was time for him to accept some responsibility. He's ready and focused on taking R&B music to a whole new level.


With his romantic flow, smooth words and pretty boy charm, he's bound to win the ladies heart's ♥♥ and a couple of record deals. Yung P Says:"I don't make music for me, cause when it comes down to it I don't need the money,I'm doing this to prove to the world that even the most challenged people can be somebody if they try hard enough." He favors the quote "The best things in life are unseen, thats why we close our eyes when we kiss, cry, and dream." With that in mind he's kissed the ladies, cried out his emotions, now its time to achieve his dream.
