Yugoslav Radical Peasants' Democracy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Yugoslav Radical Peasants' Democracy was a regime party of King Alexander I of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia which was formed after the king declared a dictatorship in the country on January 6, 1929, banning all other parties.

From 1929 to 1935, the party formed the nation's government. Petar Živković, Milan Srškić and Nikola Uzunović were the country's prime ministers while the party was in power.

After King Alexander was assassinated in 1934, it was renamed to the Yugoslav National Party and elections were called for 1935.
