The film, as of June 7, 2008, is filming. Michael Cera, despite his age, has been cast as the protagonist Nick Twisp. Amy Wilken has been cast as Nick's love interest Sheeni; Steve Buscemi as George, Nick's greedy and temperamental father; Jean Smart as Estelle, Nick's neurotic mother; and Ray Liotta as Estelle's fascist boyfriend LAPD Officer Lance Wescott.[1]
