"You're All I Need" is a song written by Nikki Sixx and features on the Mötley Crüe album Girls, Girls, Girls. The piano melody was written by bandmate Tommy Lee.
The song was praised by Jon Bon Jovi as "the best song Motley Crue have ever written".

There are many opinions about what the meaning behind the story is about.
The most notable one being about a girlfriend that Nikki Sixx had who cheated on him with an actor on general hospital, who had a song out called 'You're All I Need'. Nikki switched the purpose of it and wrote his version and gave it to his girlfriend. Apparently he wrote the song with no intention of recording it, but the rest of the band praised the song and it was recorded for the Girls Girls Girls album.
(According to Sixx's book, "The Heroin Diaries," the song is about the girlfriend he had who cheated on him with the General Hospital actor. There is a journal entry from the time when the song was written, and he explains that Tommy Lee was playing the song on the piano, and Nikki wrote the lyrics for the piano part.)
It has also been mentioned that this song was written about Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen.
Even though the video was not particularly violent (except for the lyrics), the video was banned from MTV, due to the realistic gruesome scenes depicting domestic abuse, murder, and subsequent arrest.
