From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
SOS is the name of a powerful group in the high school, Vancouver College. This group, consisting of 6 members, gained fame by becoming the first "school group" in Canada to earn an estimated $40,000 from the sale and distribution of Study Guides. They also became the first institution, with the oldest member being 16, to acquire a business license and establish a strong and extremely qualified "peer-tutoring" firm. This group has already had a profound impact on schools from all over British Columbia. However, one mystery that still remains over this relatively new society is the meaning of the "SOS". Many people have attempted to uncover the meaning of this name. The most widely-accepted definition is simply "Save our Souls". Since SOS is seen to have "saved" the grades of many students, this has been one of the more popular theories. However, the members of SOS still refuse to give any hints regarding the mysterious identity of the group.
