Talk:Youssif

"So horrible for Youssif and his family to go through this, but why doesn't the media report on the tens of thousands of children killed by US military action? Treat one child, run as the headline, and everyone at home feels saintly. How could those "terrorists" do that to Youssif? The sad thing is we've killed so many little innocent souls in Iraq and they are all screaming to be heard, but with headlines like this it will never happen. Aren't our men and women in uninform grand? Fighting for freedom? People, our occupation of Iraq and widespread killing is the very opposite of freedom! Shame on this country, the elected officials and citizens for the complacency. There is blood on all our hands and history will be the judge. I'm sure this post will get read and censored from the site. God Bless America? Right." -Anonymous

While the war is a tragedy, and this administration should be impeached for what they have blindly pulled us into, comparing Youssif's case to what our US military does is naive. Good luck finding a US soldier that has dumped gasoline all over a little boy and lit him on fire.

Not to be heartless, but this doesn't belong in the body of the article. There are other more suitable places for such a discussion.
