[edit] merge proposal

do not merge-there are also articles on Pioneering in China, Yugoslavia and East Germany. Chris 05:27, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

Agree and removing "merge tag" these articles are too different to be merged. Cmapm 12:13, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

I noticed that there are two similar articles (this and Pioneer movement),seems like both of them mostly refer or Soviet Union. Also Russia is not exactly Soviet Union and Soviet Union is not exactly Russia (regarding the tag above, isn't there same one for a Soviet Union?). it's a very popular misconception. -Obrez 05:32, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

I've read Pioneer movement article and I believe, it refers to the movement as a whole and equally overviews Pioneer organizations of all countries, while this article refers only to the Soviet Pioneer organization. These articles are obviously too different in conception and contents to be merged, hence I've removed the "merge" tag. Cmapm 12:13, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
Russia is the legal successor of the Soviet Union, so, I believe, that both Soviet and Russian project tags are appropriate here.Cmapm 12:20, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What do kids in Russia do now?

What kind of youth groups do they have in Russia now, and should they be listed in the "See Also" section?
