I found another cover of this song: see (here) by John Miles (musician). But according to the Text Comments it should be found in the 1983 album Play On. This puzzled me because if it was recorded by Farnham in 1985 and published in 1987, when was it written by Thompson? For Whom? Was John Miles the first to record the song and noone knew it?

Is this the same guy who sang "Song for you" in 1983? Reply Yes, it is from his album "Play On" from 1983. What is he going to perform this year at the European NOTP tour I do not know yet...
