I removed the mention of the novels as there was no mention of how they are related to this ethnic group. Anyone read them? Rmhermen 15:03, Jun 15, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] *Komant(a)s

Removed until clarification:

The last Sudovian duke Komants fought the Teutonic Knights for over 30(????) years.

The earliest lithuanian chronicle from Navahrudak, preserved as part of Halych-Volynia cronicle says that *Komants sided with Teutons. Mikkalai 19:33, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • O ye, sided, but in 1282 or 1283 only (he fought the Teutonic Knights for the most part in 1270s, that is for 13 or 14 years). Gugutis 12:27, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
