Yordan Petkov (Bulgarian: Йордан Петков) (born 11 March 1976) is a Bulgarian football defender who plays for Slavia Sofia. Petkov is a captain on the team.He is 1.81 m tall and weighs 78 kg.

He born in Veliko Tarnovo and started career in local team Etar. In 1998 signed contract for one year with the team from Ukrainian Premier League Vorskla Poltava.In 1999 Petkov return in Bulgaria - in Lokomotiv Sofia. For two years with strip on Lokomotiv played in 44 caps and scored 1 goal.From june 2001 so far play in Slavia Sofia with one interruption. In season 2005/2006 is a loaned in turkish Samsunspor. For Slavia played in 115 caps and scored 4 goals.
