[edit] Areas
Most books, and some websites, seem to sub divide the area into North-east, North-west, central (or Capital) and South.Would it be OK to divide the villages and towns into groups for these areas? It would make it easier to understand.--Ahjet (talk) 10:12, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jacksons ?
The ancient seat of the JACKSON family in The Yorkshire Wolds was at a place called Kelswold Grove, or Killingswold Grove. Ralph Jackson (1495-1556), his son Richard (1505-1555) and Richard's wife, Ann Todd, flourished there. Richard was the grandfather of Richard Jackson II who married Ursula Hildyard in 1596. (She was a direct descendant of William the Conqueror and the Norman and Plantagenet Kings up to Edward I.) One of their sons was Sir Anthony Jackson II, who was in the service of Charles I and Charles II.
