Yonkers Avenue

Yonkers Avenue is one of four major east-west through routes in the city of Yonkers in Westchester County, New York. The road is maintained by the New York State Department of Transportation but is not signed as a state highway. It is designated as Reference Route 983C from Nepperhan Avenue (which connects to US 9/NY 9A) to the Saw Mill River Parkway, and as Reference Route 984E from the Saw Mill River Parkway to the Bronx River Road. Yonkers Avenue then overpasses the Bronx River Parkway (with no access) and the Bronx River ending at the Yonkers–Mount Vernon line. The bridge itself is designated as Westchester County Route 66A (with an official length of 0.02 miles). The length of Yonkers Avenue is 3.24 miles.
