Yokel is a New Zealand punk band that was form in 1999 and are based in Palmerston North.

Formed in 1999, Yokel had played only a handful of shows before they were signed by Stakeout Records, with whom they released their debut EP, the nine-track Amish Rake Fight. The EP has quickly gained high rotation on Radio Massey, and their steadily-improving live act have also added to their following.
