I think the Yew tree is at the moment being used as a main ingridient to create Toxohol, a treatment for Cancer. The thing about Yew trees are that they were once cut down by people who were buiding houses and found no use for the trees and needed spaced to expand. Now with today's science we've found a use for the Yew tree, but they grow very slowly and one tree, I think, makes one year's treatment of Toxohol. In school we were asked if the making of Toxohol was ethical...to save a life or the endangered species of tree. I think that it's strange to see that the Yew tree is able to save a life when it is supposedly traditionally demonic, as I read from the Wikipedia.
