Yevgeny Konstantinovich Zavoisky (Russian: Евгений Константинович Завойский; September 28 [O.S. September 15] 1907–October 9, 1976) was a Soviet physicist. Zavoisky discovered electron spin resonance in 1944. Independent of L. Faynberg, he discovered the abnormally big resistance of plasma for high current densities in 1961. He also constructed a luminescent camera for studying nuclear processes.
Awarded Stalin Prize (1949), Lenin Prize (1957) and International Electron Spin Resonance Society Prize (1977, posthumously).
