  • A freeborn servant in a royal or noble household of high standing, below that of a squire, and above pages and grooms; equivalent to a sergeant or corporal depending on status
  • Yeoman, a late medieval British farmer of middling social status
  • Yeomen of the Guard, royal bodyguard
  • Yeomen Warders, of the Tower of London
  • "Yeoman of the Goths", according to the Westrogothic law, the lawspeaker who was appointed for life by the yeomen of the province
  • "Yeoman", a naval rating of secretary/clerk in the United States Navy and United States Coast Guard.
