Yelena Nikolaevna Romanova (Russian: Елена Николаевна Романова, March 20, 1963January 28, 2007) was a Russian middle distance runner.

She won an Olympic gold medal in 1992.

Romanova was found dead in her flat in Volgorad in January 2007. She was only 43. The cause of death has not yet been given.
